Empowering Displaced Students in Cameroon: Hope Foundation’s Back-to-School Initiative

Hope Foundation Cameroon, in partnership with YUME AFRICA, organized a back-to-school ceremony for 53 internally displaced students from Northwest and Southwest Cameroon. The event, held on September 19, 2023, aimed to promote education, integration, and citizenship among vulnerable youth.

Key Highlights:

– 53 students received tuition fees and educational materials

– Interactive session: “Citizen-oriented and patriotic back-to-school without hate speech”

– Expansion to additional departments: Haut-Nkam, Nde, and Noun
