International Humanitarian Intervention: Supporting Internally Displaced Persons in Cameroon

Project Objectives:

– Provide emergency assistance to 3,000 IDPs in the Haut-Nkam Division

– Enhance access to education and healthcare for vulnerable populations

– Foster community resilience and social cohesion

– Demonstrate international solidarity with affected communities

International Partners:

– Haut-Nkam Community Association USA-DMV

– UNAMA (USA)

Local Partners:

– Cameroon Baptist Convention Hospital

Key Achievements:

– Distributed food items (rice, flour, chocolate, water, juice) to 300 IDP families

– Provided educational support (school fees, materials) to 500 IDP children

– Offered healthcare services (medical consultations, medications) to 1,000 IDPs

– Donated 10 houses for 2 years to support IDP families

– Allocation (1,500,000 F CFA) for IDP support
